E-Prescription Notification Cards

"Electronic Prescription Notification Cards" explain to patients that their prescription was sent securely and accurately to their pharmacy of choice using electronic prescribing. These cards can be given to patients at the end of each visit. While this card is not a prescription, it will serve as a reminder to local pharmacists to check their computer (or fax machine if the pharmacy has not been enabled for electronic prescribing) for the prescriptions that you send electronically.

Online Resources for Patients

www.LearnAboutEprescriptions.com
Patients who are interested in learning more about how e-prescriptions benefit them and their families can visit www.LearnAboutEprescriptions.com. Patients can also use the site to easily find out if their physician is currently e-prescribing. By simply typing in their zip code, patients can quickly discover which physicians in their community e-prescribe as well as which pharmacies accept e-prescriptions. For a patient whose physician is not currently e-prescribing, the Web site allows them a unique opportunity to educate their physician about e-prescriptions. Patients can print helpful information that shows their doctors how e-prescriptions not only benefit patients, but can save doctors time and money and improve the quality of care at their practice.
